Business-to-business information company is seeking a new President to leverage its operations through product development, marketing and sales, and an increased online presence. Its product portfolio is delivered in both print and electronic media and includes newsletters, magazines, pamphlets, audio, and web portals. The content revolves around need-to-know information for management and is sold in a variety of ways direct response, field sales, and telesales to a corporate clientele that covers a wide spectrum in industry.
Requirements:
• Management experience in transforming print to electronic product; further experience in transformation from electronic databases to online commercial sites.
• Track record in strategic re-purposing of content; experience in re-prioritizing sales, marketing, and product development efforts towards a more cohesive business model
• Track record in building a sales forceboth field and in-house.
• Knowledgeable in how online communities work within the b-to-b environment, i.e., experience in creating web portals or information sites that create brand awareness as an example of this.
• Database management experience is required; should be able to show examples of how house files work, implementation of successful lead generation programs, and knowledge of the fundamentals of direct marketing techniques.
