Corporate tax software solutions developer seeks a VP, Product Marketing to oversee program strategy, sales readiness, and business development of the product suite. This responsibility will exist through the product life-cycle from idea through development, launch, operation, and expansion of product.
The VP, Product Marketing will create strategies, market messages, white papers, and go-to-market launch plans for the company, guided by overall corporate strategy. The VP, Product Marketing will be responsible for implementation and measurement of his/her strategies and plans, and ultimately for their success.
Position Accountabilities:
- Measuring results, including usage, revenues, and market share.
- Product marketing management including marketing plan, customer acquisition, market messages, launch plan, collateral, and sales tools.
- Creation of plans and strategies to assist in achieving product objectives.
- Tracking, monitoring, and reporting on execution of plans.
- Assuring current content of Internet, Intranet, and blog content.
- Developing and measuring customer acquisition and retention strategies and differentiating as required by specific product type.
- Publishing product-specific white papers.
- Proactive communication with senior management on the market performance of the product.
- Developing and leading go-to-market strategy and executing go-to-market plans and tactics.
- Working very closely with Product Management team in support of overall objectives.
- Developing demand generation initiatives including webinars, channel training, presentations and demonstrations, and program of client visits.
Must-Have Skills:
- 10+ years of product marketing experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the global corporate tax market space and the large professional services space that supports that market is extremely desirable.
- Ability to proactively engage customers.
- Proven experience in managing day-to-day relationships with external partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills, to both small and larger groups.
- Active listening skills.
- Self-motivator and self-starter.
