CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY PRESS NAMES PATRICIA CORYELL AS

ELT GROUP DIRECTOR, AMERICAS

We are pleased to announce that Patricia Coryell has been appointed to the position of ELT Group Director, Americas at Cambridge University Press. In this position, Pat will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of ELT in the American branch. She will help establish global policy for the Press's ELT publishing.

Pat has extensive publishing experience, most recently at Houghton Mifflin where, as part of her role as VP/Executive Publisher for Humanities and Social Sciences in the College Division, she managed the English, Developmental English, and ESL publishing programs. Since 2008 she has worked as a publishing and business development consultant.

Pat brings to the Press proven leadership, management, and publishing experience. She has had full responsibility for all operations of a large staff, budget, and publishing portfolio for over a decade, and has managed publishing programs so as to bring about significant increases in revenue, market share, and product lines. In addition, she has created print-to-digital programs and has proven success in developing business strategy, including the creation of partnerships. She also has proven experience and knowledge of the impact of technology on teaching the English language and knowledge of digital tools and products.
