THE ENDOCRINE SOCIETY APPOINTS REBECCA RINEHART AS

SENIOR DIRECTOR AND PUBLISHER

We are pleased to announce that The Endocrine Society has appointed Rebecca Rinehart as Senior Director and Publisher.

As Senior Director and Publisher for The Endocrine Society, Rinehart, who has more than 30 years of publishing experience in the health and medical field, will oversee all aspects of production, marketing, and strategic development for the Society’s four scholarly journals, which include the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, Endocrinology, Molecular Endocrinology, and Endocrine Reviews.

 

Since 1981, Rinehart distinguished herself as Director of Publications for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) where she oversaw all aspects of print and electronic publishing for the ACOG’s periodicals, books, and consumer information. Concurrently, she also managed several writing, editing, and publishing freelance consulting assignments for consumer and professional publications in the health and medical field.

 

Rinehart’s experience also includes positions of increasing editorial responsibility in medical books and periodicals with Harper & Row Publishers from 1972 through 1981. Rinehart also has contributed to a number of professional textbooks, reference books, and consumer publications.
