ELLEN BEAL JOINS STAYWELL AS DIRECTOR OF EDITORIAL, STRATEGIC ALLIANCES

We are pleased to announce that Ellen Beal will join the Staywell division of MediMedia as Director of Editorial, Strategic Alliances. Ellen comes to Staywell from The National Geographic Society where she served as Editorial Manager for their International Book Program. Prior to this, Ellen held a variety of positions, namely Publisher and Director of Product Development, at Berlitz International, Inc., where she managed all publishing operations.

In this new capacity, Ellen will be responsible for developing new products for existing strategic alliance partners in addition to bringing in new strategic alliance partners. Ellen will also manage editorial and production resources including an in-house staff of five as well as freelance professionals and vendors. With over fifteen years of publishing experience, Ellen will be an instrumental component to the continued success of Staywell.
