We are looking for a marketer at the director level to manage the launch and ongoing marketing of the new early childhood program. This program will address reading comprehension for all early learners. Of equal importance, it will support early learners who come from lower socioeconomic backgrounds and have had low literacy exposure, putting them at a disadvantage when they start school.
This newly created role is a great opportunity for a strong marketer with keen insight and planning expertise, as well as strong writing and communication skills.
The role includes ownership over marketing for national and regional new sales and responsibility for achieving goals related to this product. It will include oversight over both national and regional marketing from planning through content delivery and optimization of campaigns. The person in this role will own insightful planning and drive calendar, drafting of briefs and key messages, and deployment briefs for the marketing operations team. He/she will work with content creators, both writers and designers, to create the content for assets and campaigns. And he/she will be analytics-driven, assessing marketing performance and optimizing work on an ongoing basis.
Deliver key insights on customer needs and messaging that specifically address their circumstances by cohort.
Responsible for developing the strategy and planning of all CLIENT campaigns across channels, with projections by channel to meet stated campaign objectives, including open rates, CTRs, and leads.
Develop content for campaigns across channels including email, social posts, white papers, blogs, etc.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders and coordinate with them to inform strategy, review campaign results, and ensure alignment to meet goals and objectives.
Coordinate with Marketing Operations Team to deploy campaigns and deliver reports and analysis.
Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience in K-12 education; experience in the early literacy space is preferred.
Proven track record of insightful marketing and strategic planning – identifying customer pain points, developing creative briefs for multiple personas, and evaluating messaging that drives lead generation.
Prior experience understanding the different attitudes, needs, and beliefs for admins/buyers and influencers/teachers to drive interest.
Experience managing acquisitions programs. Use of analytics to evaluate customer behavior, expertise in A/B testing, and optimizations.
Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.
Proven problem-solving and issue-resolution skills with the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven work environment, where multitasking while maintaining quality and attention to detail are the norm.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills including the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up intuition and assess the efficacy of marketing programs.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills.
